Tournament Snack List

Please bring about $10 worth of snacks for the day so that we don't have to spend money on concessions. You can choose to split it up how you wish (one on snack and one on beverages?) It's up to you, but it will be each person spending about $1/person. This is only for the mandatory tournaments, if you wish to bring a snack for the group on optional tournaments you can as well. Please, let me know if there are any conflicts with this list.

Speech Clinic at Elk River High School

The speech clinic is on Monday, January 10th, 2011. This is a great opportunity for new teams/competitors to learn more about speech, and to see other members perform their speeches. There will be teaching from accomplished coaches in our area on certain topics in speech. :)

Things to do before the season begins on January 5th, 2010!!

Hello all,
    We are writing to remind you of things that need to be completed by your first practice (either the 5th or 7th of January).

1) Make sure you sign the MSHSL fine arts eligibility form (you will get this from Barb)
2) The activity fee is $90 to participate in speech (you can give your check or cash to Mr. Zopfi)
3) Have your speech written (Public Address categories) or have your cutting ready (Interp categories except Storytelling)
4) and MOST important!! Make sure you sign up for a practice time with the coaches, if you do not practice weekly, you will not be able to compete at the tournaments--so make sure you get in the habit of checking your schedule and clearing 30-min for your practice!
